The routes
Same format at both. Full day, all gear, lead and top-rope. Pick the crag nearest your bed.
Near Guatemala City & Antigua
A full day of lead and top-rope climbing on the walls above Lake Amatitlán — the closest real rock to Guatemala City and Antigua. First time on a rope or already climbing hard, the day adapts to you.
Quetzaltenango (Xela)
Volcanic rock on the slopes of Cerro Quemado, just outside Xela. A quieter crag, big highland views, and a full day of climbing with everything handled — gear, transport, and instruction.
Your guide
The person answering your message is the person tying in with you at the wall. Rafa has climbed Guatemalan rock for 19 years and guided for 13. First-timers get full instruction. Experienced climbers get mileage.
Booking
Short-notice bookings are often possible depending on the schedule — booking ahead is recommended to guarantee a spot.
